The Student Success Team provides you with the skills necessary to be both academically and personally successful as a student at Regent. A Success Coordinator is assigned to each student and provides individual student advising, both academic and holistic, throughout. We understand each student is unique and provide personal support to adapt to each student’s needs. The Success Coordinator guides students to explore academic goals and assists in course selection for their academic programme. We also assist in connecting students to on-campus and community resources.

If you have a question but do not know who to ask or what resources to go to, student success is your first stop – no question is a bad question! Your success coordinator is by your side as you complete each academic year at Regent.

Academic & Support Services Department

The Department of Academic and Support Services (DASS) provides a variety of academic services to help students to meet requirements of their courses and achieve their educational goals. DASS supervises and leads three units

1. The Office of Counselling and People of Determination, which supports inclusive education and appropriate accommodations for all students.
2. The Office of Advising and Student Success, which provides services like advising, tutoring, mentoring, the English Program and the writing lab. 3. Library services, which is dedicated to giving people access to a variety of information resources to help with research, teaching and learning.
These three units work together to offer services, events and programmes for a smooth and easy-to-use  educational experience, all under the umbrella of the Academic and Support Services Department.

Free emotional support is available to Regent Students for those moments when you just need somebody to talk to. We’ve all been there. We’ve all had moments where we didn’t feel our best. Sometimes what we really need in these situations, is somebody to talk to – somebody who cares, somebody who won’t judge, and will listen without bias. It is not always possible to find this in our own circle of family and friends. Regent emotional support therapy connects you to expert active listeners. They are compassionate, caring and experienced. They will listen, support you and be there for you.
