Background:
Ms Shruti is the newest addition to the team with a Master of Arts in Animation. Ms Sruti believes in a hands-on project-based learning approach that emphasizes creativity, collaboration and the practical application of theoretical knowledge. Her areas of interest include digital 2D and 3D animation, game design and development, digital graphics, illustration and UI/UX design.
Her journey to becoming an animator and artist began in the unlikely realm of engineering. While pursuing her degree in electronics and communication engineering, she developed a deep appreciation for precision, problem solving and the intricate working of things. But the urge to express her creativity and imagination has always been a big part of who she is. She is fascinated by the intersection of technology and art and how they can be harmonised to create compelling visual narratives. Hence in her practice, she strives to explore this intersection to create engaging and immersive experiences.
Ms Sruti is also passionate about music and is a trained Carnatic vocalist.
