The power of persistence: A story of growth from our anime art competition

At our recent Anime Art Competition, we were reminded of the incredible power of persistence, inspiration, and the drive to improve.. Among the many talented participants were Azlan and Asher, twin brothers who brought their passion for anime to life through their artwork.

On the day of the event, Azlan and Asher presented a simple piece of art. While their work was heartfelt, it didn’t earn them a prize. The competition was fierce, with many artists showcasing their intricate and detailed creations.

Despite not winning, the twins left the event with something far more valuable than a trophy—they left with a spark of inspiration. After returning home, Azlan and Asher reflected on their experience. They were inspired by the incredible talent they had seen and understood that while their artwork was good, there was room for improvement. Instead of feeling disheartened, they channeled their energy into creating something new, something better.

In the days that followed, the twins worked tirelessly on two new pieces of art. They experimented with new techniques, paid closer attention to detail, and pushed their creative boundaries. The result? Two beautiful artworks that were a significant leap forward from their original submission.

This story of Azlan and Asher is a testament to the importance of perseverance and learning from others. They didn’t let a setback define them; instead, they used it as a stepping stone to grow and improve. Their journey reminds us that success isn’t always about winning—it’s about learning, evolving, and never giving up on your passion.

As we continue to nurture and celebrate creativity within our community, we are inspired by stories like Azlan and Asher’s. They embody the spirit of continuous improvement and the belief that with dedication, every artist can elevate their craft. Let their story be a reminder to all of us: Whether in art, business, or life, the journey of growth is ongoing, and the only limit is the one we set for ourselves

.

At Regent, we believe that success is not achieved in a single day; rather, it is the result of continuous repetition and persistence, a concept emphasized by Thinking
into Character. For more insights, visit Thinking into Character.
