A Day Filled with Real Career Opportunities
Regent Middle East recently hosted a highly successful Hospitality Internship Drive for its Level 4 and Level 5 Pearson BTEC HND students. Held on 20 November 2025, the event took place at the Regent Middle East campus in Dubai Knowledge Park and offered students a genuine opportunity to experience what real industry hiring feels like.
The initiative was designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and the professional world by placing students directly in front of hiring personnel from within the hospitality sector. For many, it was their first exposure to a structured interview process—an invaluable experience for anyone preparing to begin their journey in Dubai’s hospitality industry.
Interviews Led by Regent Connect’s Chief Growth Officer
The interviews were conducted by Mr. Krishna Prasad, Chief Growth Officer at Regent Connect. Known for his experience in hospitality operations and industry insight, Mr. Prasad guided students through the entire process with a professional yet supportive approach.
He evaluated each candidate’s strengths, communication skills, and readiness for the industry while also sharing practical tips that students could immediately apply. His involvement helped participants understand how interviews are assessed, what employers expect, and how they can position themselves confidently during recruitment.
Strong Engagement from Hospitality HND Students
The Internship Drive received excellent participation from both Level 4 and Level 5 students. Each student came prepared—carrying not only their resumes but also the confidence and practical knowledge gained through their BTEC programme.
Throughout the sessions, students demonstrated:
- Clear communication
- Professional presentation
- Practical understanding of hospitality operations
- Willingness to learn and grow
For most students, being part of a real interview setup helped reduce anxiety and significantly improved their confidence. It also offered them a valuable reflection on their strengths and areas of improvement as they prepare for internships across Dubai’s fast-growing hospitality sector.
A Step Forward in Career-Focused Education
This Internship Drive is another example of Regent Middle East’s commitment to offering career-oriented, practical education that goes far beyond the classroom. By connecting students with industry experts and creating platforms for real-world exposure, Regent ensures that every learner is equipped with the professional skills needed to succeed in Dubai’s world-renowned hospitality industry.
Regent Middle East continues to expand its network of industry partners, ensuring that students receive meaningful internship pathways and long-term career development opportunities.
