Course Overview
The Pearson BTEC International Level 2 Diploma in Information Technology is a vocational high school completion programme designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed for a career in the IT industry. This 12-month programme covers a wide range of IT-related topics, including computer hardware and software, programming and digital media.
In addition to technical skills, the programme also focuses on developing key employability skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking and teamwork. These skills are highly valued by employers and will be beneficial for students as they progress in their careers.

The content of these qualifications has been designed to support progression to roles in IT, most likely via further study at Level 3 and then through higher-education routes in the particular areas.
